ABOUT
Nite Hike began as a dreamy, mega-layered, and stylized post-disco pandemic solo project from producer/multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Christian Hurd. Known for his work with Leading Psychics, Mackintosh, Lookbook, The Prids, Soft Tags, Tuesday Faust, Anya Marina, Templeton, and Howlin' Maggie, Hurd has worn a lot of hats in the biz and most of them are black.
Nite Hike is now filling Portland clubs and causing toes to pop up in their boots with a memorable tech-forward live show experience featuring Trask Schulte (Paste/Mother Mariposa) on guitar and voice, Adam Young (Life At Sea/Light Creates Shadow) on drums, with Hurd singing and playing bass guitar.

Nite Hike’s latest single, "There'd Be Days" is streaming everywhere, our Youtube channel is live, the song "Nearest, Safest Star" was added to the 2024 PDX Pop Compilation and we're currently playing live shows as a trio. We just completed our first headlining show on New Year's Eve with an unbelievable record-breaking SOLD OUT SHOW at The Six Below Midnight. We followed that opening for Portland legends Federale and Sun Atoms at Mississippi Studios on January 29th. And we’ll be regularly dropping a series of duets, covers, and original studio singles while prepping for a full-length album release and more touring in 2026.
